While not all states require the same credentials to be an agents, we believe that proper licensing is critical to the success of our team, and the security of you and your business.
All of our agents are trained and permitted to carry a weapon, as well as to engage in unarmed conflict. While each state is unique in the requirements for being an executive protection agent, in Maryland we only employ agents who have licenses to be Executive Protection, and in Virginia agents who are considered Personal Protection, as issued by the Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) Private Security Services.
Trained and certified through the DCJS, each member of your personal protection detail possesses skills and knowledge of how to lawfully protect you and your loved ones.
The program at DCJS ensures each graduate understands the applicable laws of the Code of Virginia as well as legal authority and civil law.
Training also includes:
Threat assessments
Protectee vulnerability assessments
Protective detail operations (including motorcades)
Tactical transportation (driving, surveillance and counter-surveillance)
Emergency response (procedures, communications, electronics, first aid)
International protective details (including culture, comparative religion, and terrorism awareness)
